Tim Gordon/Trent Horn Debate Social Media Buzz

Making its way around the internet is this debate discussion between Traditionalist apologist Tim Gordon and Neo-Con Catholic Conservative Trent Horn of Catholic Answers. My attempt here is to highlight the discussion and give our audience all the necessary information and links to join in on this social media story that is making its rounds.

The Satanic Left Introduces Abortion Vans to Counter Trump

The Left's response to the cuts in federal funding for abortions has been to try and cut expenditures by making the demonic practice of murdering the unborn more cost effective.

Cardinal Stumps For Women Cardinals

Luxembourg Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich wants women to become "deacons" and "cardinals," he told La Nación (October 24). He believes that women should be involved in electing popes as if the pope were some kind of representative of the people. https://gloria.tv/post/2orgMoShbF2kAJYCDNxjDDadU

SSPX Condemns Amazon Synod Document

Mobile Abortion Vans on the Go in California!

This is my point about abortion, for all the small victories by the prolifers, the Progressive siblings of the Right counter with something more extreme. The Classical Liberal Right has failed in its 250 year reign, and abortion is their great shame that they have allowed to exist in their godless Utopia that is now collapsing on a daily basis. The baby butcher factories are running at full capacity in America!

One Ring To Rule Them All: Satanic Infiltration Amazon Synod Mass

Early yesterday morning I woke up to check out the final Mass for the closing of the Amazon Synod. I found more than I bargained for.

IT's THE FINALE DOCUMENT

First, dear reader and fellow Knight, allow me to put you at ease with something to keep in mind as you hear or read what is in the final document: whatever is in the document it, like Cdl. Raymond Burke has said: "has nothing to do with changing doctrine". Indeed a synod can not change doctrine as it simply advises the Pope. The Pope will then write an exhortation which without expressly saying so is not infallible. With that in mind on to the less than good news about this synodal document.

Married priesthood is indeed mentioned. Some would say allowing Priests to marry would be a good thing. Yet it is important to realize a married Priest is a heart divided. Jesus said you can not serve two masters and though Jesus was speaking of mammon in that text the general idea applies.

St. John Paul II said in his document on the family that marriage is a mutual total self-giving. How then can a priest give himself totally to two spouses, both church and wife?

This is to say nothing of the fact that no ordained man will be affected by any change to priestly celibacy. The sacraments have a hierarchy. Holy orders are higher than marriage. One cannot simply step down to a sacrament. Also, once a promise is made, such as to not marry, one can not renege.

The document also mentions the female deacons which I would advise you see my article "why matter, matters" found here:         https://knightsofchristendomblog.blogspot.com/2019/10/the-matter-matters.html?m=0

The final document says "further study is needed" Translation: we need to figure a way around the form and matter.

There is mention as well of an Amazonian rite. It states "This would add to the rites already present in the Church, enriching the work of evangelization, the ability to express faith in one's own culture and the sense of decentralization and collegiality that can be expressed by the Catholicity of the Church,"

When I read this I was sickened by the attempt to attach this "Amazonian rite" to the ancient and beautiful eastern rites. To attempt to make them the same is insulting. Yet perhaps the most dangerous part in that statement is the words "decentralized" and "collegiality". The Church is a monarchy and they want to decentralize it? Is that not at the heart of collegiality to take more and more authority form the chair of peter?

This document, as said, does not change doctrine but it does wound the church. It waters down the traditions of the church to a greater extent. Enemies of the Chruch, both within and out, will use this time and again to assail the traditional teachings of the Chruch.  Who knows, maybe that is the point.

Who Dunked The Pagan Momma Idol?

Today I, Hammer, discuss some theories on the finding of the Idols that made a historic 10pt dive into the Tiber River, but before Traditional Catholic could get ther scoring card out the Idols were retrieved.  Is there more to this??

The Faithful Strikes Back: CONFLICT IN SYNOD HALL (Church Militant)

https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/key-synod-architect-reports-conflict-over-final-document

Well, there appears to be trouble in the Amazonian paradise. The final document is up for debate and soon voting. The document is what most expected but faithful Catholics are striking back against the more heterodox Catholics in the room. Church militant reports conflict among the small groups and others. "Fr. Paulo Suess slams bishops slow to accept 'innovations'"
"Feminists are hoping for a nod from the bishops, claiming women deacons in the Amazon would be the first step toward a universal female priesthood. According to Miriam Duignan, a member of the Women's Ordination Worldwide campaign, 'If we start in the Amazon, it will go elsewhere.'"
One faithful catholic is Cdl. Robert Sarah who is fighting on the front lines to protect the Church. See more at Church militant.
We need to stand togeather. Fellow Catholics learn the faith and are ready to fight these people and these changes. learn who is faithful and who is not. As you can see above they want to spread their errors to the entire church. We know God will not allow that but they can confuse mane and we need to stand in the gap for such souls.

BREAKING!!! Taylor Marshal under attack by the Holy see???

Is Taylor Marshal's reputation being attacked by the Holy See? One Twitter account, @RonaldPPinheiro, posted this image of Wikipedia

Which was quickly followed up by this ISP search by user @pintorahul

While it remains unconfirmed who or what exactly is going on these images raise some serious questions.

UPDATE: Dr. Taylor Marshal uploaded an image showing who is attacking him by changing his Wikipedia page. See Below. It seems this confirms that he is indeed being attacked.

Synod's Small Groups: MOST WANT MARRIED PRIESTS & FEMALE DECONESSES

The Amazon Synod’s small groups were published on (October 18). Their positions concerning celibacy and female deacons are:

Italian A is against celibacy and for women as lectors and acolytes, it does not mention a female diaconate.

Italian B says nothing about celibacy and female deacons.

Portuguese A is for abolishing celibacy and for a female diaconate, quotes the heretic Father Hans Küng on peace among religions.

Portuguese B calls abolishing celibacy “necessary,” wants female deacons because last Council's arguments in favor of married deacons apply now [allegedly] to women.

Portuguese C waffles randomly about “possibilities regarding the diaconate, viri probati, women, married priests.”

Portuguese D calls for “further maturing and thoughts” on abolishing celibacy and introducing female deacons.

Spanish A produced a boring long text about leadership responsibilities for women avoiding the term “deaconate”. No call to abolish celibacy.

Spanish B wants further studies about female deacons and wishes to abolish celibacy "in exceptional cases."

Spanish C calls it “possible” to produce female deacons and “important” to abolish celibacy.

Spanish D "promotes" abolishing celibacy and producing female deacons.

Spanish E wants a non-sacramental female diaconate.

French/English says nothing about abolishing celibacy or female diaconate and underlines that the Church is “not Greenpeace.”

The Collapse of Moral Order and the Political Right

In my time within the Classical Liberal camp, there was no greater point of contention than the contradictory balance between liberty and moral order. While the ill-defined principles of Liberty have raised questions into the general concept of order, many on the political Right continue to insist that some type of justifiable order is a necessity to maintain peace and stability. And yet within the midst of modernity, the greatest failure of the political Right has been to maintain any justifiable order within civilization, as the breakdown of culture and family has many questioning the notion of whether the principles of Liberty and moral order are even compatible in this epoch of human civilization.

Why does Art even matter?

Dear reader, when you look at the above images what comes to mind? Are any emotions invoked? Think of any other image- be it painting, sculpture, architecture or any other visual medium- and ask yourself if anything within you is touched? Art is more than simply some pretty thing to look at. It is a language. It often bypasses the filter of the mind and goes to the deeper part of man. It speaks to us without speaking. Art often teaches and conveys knowledge and understanding without even saying a word.

Again look at the Pieta. Jesus lifeless body resting in the arms of mary. Look at her eyes burdened with sorrow. Even the words I am using does not express fully what is being presented to our eyes, mind, and heart. Art can be very easily overlooked as unimportant, useless, or not a big deal. In reality, Art holds one of the highest places in man's experience of life. It is through art that we can reach higher plans of understanding and knowledge. It is easy to say "Mary is sad" it is another to SEE her in the throws of sorrow as her son is removed from the cross and handed to her. Art engages the whole human person.

"Paintings and sculptures act on one's thoughts and feelings through the use of one's eyes' in the efforts to govern one's reactions to the work, artists use a pictorial language just as writers use a verbal one. Writers arrange sequences of words to evoke emotion and atmosphere, define character, and seek to achieve a flow of sentences that have rhythm, variety, unity, and balance, so artists use their visual language to express the content of their ideas in works of art."

The Commonwealth and International Library: Liberal Studies Division
1967, Pages 6-18 ( https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/B9780080121369500096 )

"On the other hand, in Rome especially, we find the position of holy images explained soberly and reasonably. They are the books of the ignorant."- St. Gregory the Great (d. 604).

In the earliest times of the Church Art has often been how the ignorant was taught the faith. Stained glass windows are a good example of art being used as a tool to teach. The images depicted therein would often be from the Bible. The Visitation, The baptism in the jorden, and the crucifixion are all images depicted in such a way. Just this past Sunday my daughter upon getting out of the car saw a cross and pointed and said excitedly "Look! there are Jesus and Mary! Hi Jesus and Mary!" Instantly my 3yrd recognized Jesus as being present; For her, that was indeed Jesus and his mother. My 2yrd will often look at a cross and say "bobo. Je-Je Bo BO" referring to the wounds of Jesus.

Sacred Art is, in a sense, an incarnation of holy things. Thos Holy Events or ideas are made present to us through the use of creative hands; they are "symbols" of the divine. It is important to remember a symbol participates in what it is pointing to. A sign, for example, a stop sign, do not participate in the act of stopping. it is simply telling you to act: to stop. Yet a symbol is what it is pointing to, or rather participates in it. Going back to my daughter, that cross was Jesus. It was more than simply pointing to the crucifixion, that IS Jesus on the cross. So a symbol and art is symbolic, is more than a sign or as I said a pretty picture. there is so much more it is a participation in what is being depicted. (keep this in mind next movie you go to, or art show)
"And the bishops shall carefully teach this,-that, by means of the histories of the mysteries of our Redemption, portrayed by paintings or other representations, the people are instructed and confirmed in (the habit of) remembering, and continually revolving in mind the articles of faith; as also that great profit is derived from all sacred images, not only because the people are thereby admonished of the benefits and gifts bestowed upon them by Christ, but also because the miracles which God has performed by means of the saints, and their salutary examples, are set before the eyes of the faithful; that so they may give God thanks for those things; may order their own lives and manners in imitation of the saints; and maybe excited to adore and love God, and to cultivate piety. But if anyone shall teach, or entertain sentiments, contrary to these decrees; let him be anathema." -The Council of Trent
The Twenty-Fifth Session "ON THE INVOCATION, VENERATION, AND RELICS, OF SAlNTS, AND ON SACRED IMAGES."

Evil Art:

At the Vatican, there has been some controversy over certain pagan idols and rightly so. If holy Art brings with it a sense of the Sacred and participation in what is being depicted then it follows is when pagan idols or other evil artistic images are honored then we participate in that evil; put simply it is indeed a "big deal".

Now a side note: I am not speaking of simply preservation of cultural art for historical reasons. Such art is not honored and uplifted. such art is not being used in places of worship or conflated with Sacred Art. Pagan cultural pieces are not being raised to equal standing with Sacred art if anything it is used as a warning to not regress into past evils, if not simply a means of remembering the past.

It is when such art is placed in our Churches or placed on equal footing as Sacred art that we then are participating in evil. "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me" Just as SAcred art makes the divine present or "incarnate" so does evil art. Art that is pagan or depicts some evil also makes that evil present. It stains the Holy ground it rests upon. What we say of holy things applies also to evil things and such art allows the "smoke of Satan" into the Church.

The importance of art in all of the human experience of an undeniable fact. All I need do is take some image that is held in high esteem and profane it, then it becomes clear, all of a sudden, that art matters, and how it sends a message. For example, the pagan art that was thrown into the Tiber where it belongs. Soon we will see just how important those images where to people as they begin to be outraged at its new proper storage location.

BREAKING!!!!! Hero's of Christendom removes pagan idols

Lifesite News has the full video of at least one man (and another unknown person) going into Santa Maria in Traspontina Church near St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome removing the synod statues and throwing them into the Tiber River. A symbolic gesture as the Tiber was wher St. Peter made some of the first converts to the Catholic Church. (see video below)
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/breaking-controversial-amazon-synod-statue-siezed-and-thrown-into-the-tiber-river-full-video

The Church is in desperate need of such men who are willing to stand up for Mother church and protect here from the invasion of pagan idols into her sacred spaces.

Stay tuned there is more to come!!

The matter, matters.

We see more and more breaking with Tradition from the Amazonian Synod, I thought it fitting to address the theological concept of "form" and "matter". Today we will focus on the matter.

Each Sacrament requires, along with proper intent, form, and matter. Without these, the Sacrament is invalid and is not effectual. To use a firearm analogy, because I like them and want to fit one in, there is a "round," in the chamber but it is a dud; a misfire, a key component is missing.

All the components are needed for all the Sacraments. Now in light of the Amazonian Synod, let's look at the Sacrament of Holy Orders. The Catechism Of The Catholic Church states:

"1572 … All three ordinations, of the bishop, of the priest, and the deacon, follow the same movement. Their proper place is within the Eucharistic liturgy.

1573 The essential rite of the Sacrament of Holy Orders for all three degrees consists in the bishop's imposition of hands on the head of the ordained and in the bishop's specific consecratory prayer asking God for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and his gifts proper to the ministry to which the candidate is being ordained."

"1577 "Only a baptized man (vir) validly receives sacred ordination...The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord himself. For this reason, the ordination of women is not possible."

What this means is all three, Bishop, Priest, and Deacon receive Holy Orders. The Matter of Holy orders is the laying on of hands by the Bishop upon the man to be ordained. Thus, the matter of the sacrament makes female ordination an impossibility. If a Bishop, even the one of Rome, was to lay hands on a woman-no matter if he uses the proper form or all the rites, it is ipso facto invalid due to incorrect matter, namely a woman. If we put it in more obvious terms; a woman can not be a father!

I hope this was helpful in better understanding the matter of the Sacraments.

AMAZON SYNOD’S STATIONS OF THE CROSS FUSE POLITICS AND PAGANISM WITH PIETY

https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/amazon-synods-stations-of-the-cross-fuse-politics-and-paganism-with-piety

Synod proposes female ordination??

Once again from our brothers and sisters over at Church militant, we hear the Synod may be looking at an Amazonian rite, which may include female ordinations. Such ordinations would be impossible as this would violate the matter of the ordination rite, that of a man; yet it is a watering down of the faith. See more at Church militant.https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/synod-proposes-new-amazonian-rite-to-ordain-women-and-married-men

SYNOD’S FINAL DOCUMENT DRAFTING COMMITTEE PACKED WITH LEFTISTS

https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/pope-packs-synod-document-drafting-committee-with-leftists

As expected the committee, according to Church militant, that will draft the final document is stacked with those of less than orthodox beliefs. As more and more comes out about the Synod it is important to remember the truth of Jesus Christ and the Tradition of his church can not be destroyed. The document to come out maybe damaging, but it is not infallible. Please see the link for more information.
